Dog lover looking for new besties!
Hello! I’m Amy, and I’d love to hang out with your precious pup! I’ve grown up with dogs, including a beloved Westie who was by my side from the time I was 3 until I was 17. My whole extended family are dog lovers, so I’ve always been surrounded by dogs of all shapes and sizes. Our current family dog is Kaia, a rescue stray who lives with my parents. I miss her every day! Kaia came to us as a very anxious girl, so I’m comfortable with nervous or shy dogs and always do my best to make them feel at ease. She’s also extremely clingy and has no sense of personal space, so if that sounds like your dog, we’ll get along great! I live in a ground-floor flat with a lovely big garden for playing, and we’re just a five-minute walk from Queen’s Park. Its important to note I live on a busy street and as a result there can be noises throughout the day that some dogs aren’t used to - if your dog is/could be reactive to this it would be good to discuss ahead of booking. My partner is home in the evenings and on weekends. We’re an active couple who love taking day trips to the beach or up into the hills, and we’d be thrilled to bring your dog along (if they’re into that kind of thing). Amy keep us updated with Franco, he was a bit unsettled with the noises. Friendly and welcoming :) lovely couple who looked after Franco very well! I felt comfortable leaving Franco with Amy who appeared to love dogs.
Couldn't recommend Amy enough, my dog is anxious and she did everything to care for her needs and nothing was too much trouble at all. I was very nervous leaving her as she is a complex dog - but Amy kept me fully updated with regular messages and photos which made a huge difference and allowed me to relax while I was away. She treated my dog as if she were her own and gave 5 star care and attention, I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Thanks so much Amy!

Amy is so great with our pup, he always is so excited to see her and she is really accommodating too. We always get lots of picture updates on their days together!!
Amy couldn’t have been a better sitter! Colin had an absolute blast and I had plenty of ‘Colin Comms’ whilst I was away. Would absolutely recommend and we will definitely be using Amy again (if she’ll have us 🫢).
Our dog was very happy and well cared for. Good communication all round.

Schedule
I work from home 4 days a week and can be flexible on the day I work in the office. Weekends I am generally available.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a ground-floor flat with easy access to the garden. We have a small fence but our garden only backs on to other tenement gardens, so no great escapes! Happy to keep leads on while in the garden to be extra safe. We’re just 5 minutes from Queen’s Park which is perfect for big walks.
A typical day
I like to be super active so your dog can expect at least one big walk a day, with plenty of time playing in the garden and around the house!
