Caring for your pet like you would!
I'm a 56 year old at-home mom to a UF student (GO GATORS!). I have had dogs for 20+ years, but when my oldest one passed, I wanted to share my love of pets and provide those who want a trustworthy & genuine human to care for their fur kids while they are away. I fostered 11 dogs from 2014-2018, and I have had many cats over the years, as well and guinea pigs and ferrets, so you can rest assured that your pet is in good hands. I have helped a pregnant hound birth 6 puppies, fostered a litter of 4 terrier pups (8 wks old), rescued a very timid young dog who didn't know what a house or a loving family was, and fostered 3 senior small breeds. I puppysat for an active pit mix weekly for around 6 months. I have been actively dog sitting since Sept 2023, and have cared for around 45 dogs for 20+ families. I love my job! I'm easy going, friendly, and have flexibility in my schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
I prefer to care for pets in their own home simply for their own comfort. I always used at-home pet care for my dogs for this reason. I would consider an olde, calmer breed for care in my home if necessary, but my husband works from home, so it would be on an individual assessment basis only.

I can't say enough great things about Amy's care for my dogs, Rocket and Bolt. From the very beginning, she was communicative and responsive, making it easy to coordinate everything for my trip. While I was away, I felt completely at ease knowing my pups were in great hands. Amy not only took excellent care of them, ensuring they were happy, safe, and well-loved, but she also kept an eye on my home, giving me extra peace of mind. Her attention to detail and genuine love for animals made all the difference. I never had to worry, and I was able to fully enjoy my trip without a second thought. Amy was great! I felt totally as ease leaving Tootsie in her care. got daily pictures, texts of what they were doing. She and Tootsie got along wonderfully. Will not hesitate to use Amy on any upcoming trips.
Amy is wonderful!! “Met” ahead of her stay and was flexible with our requests. We were visiting the area and in addition to being a wonderful companion for Rocky, she gave us amazing suggestions for local places! We felt comfortable with her staying - she was thorough, kind, patient and so tolerant of him, being away from home! We definitely recommend Amy and hope to be able to book again!! She is wonderful with dogs… and their nervous owners :) 10/10!!!

- I would like to know your dog's temperament, age, and the things that make he/she happy or displeased. Knowing the breed would be helpful simply because being active in rescue has taught me that some breeds are more energetic, stubborn, less active, etc. There is no breed discrimination: I love all kinds of dogs!
