Mimi’s Pet Sitting

I have been professionally pet sitting since 2015 and since then, it has become a passion of mine. I chose to start pet sitting after deciding the Veterinary scene was not for me. I am licensed and insured. I have recently obtained my Certification for Dog Obedience Training through Animal Behavior College. I have also received my certification for Veterinary Assistant and have taken additional classes for dog sitting, dog walking, pet nutrition, and cat behavior through Animal Behavior College. My certification for pet CPR/ First Aid is current. I spent time doing an externship at VCA and have spent several hours volunteering for local shelters. I have experience administering oral and IV medications. I also have experience with pet handling for events such as weddings and parties. I do offer pet taxi service for an additional fee. My husband and I enjoy having dogs around and would love to be able to watch your fur baby for you and guarantee they will be part of the family. Please know I do not tolerate any type of aggression. I run a dog friendly, content, safe environment. About my services: Dog Daycare: Covers up to 8 hours a day. If the daycare is 4 hours or less, I will lower the rate. If the stay goes over the 8-hour mark, there will be an additional fee. I do also offer a taxi service for daycare and boarding with an additional fee. Overnights: Covered up until noon on day of pick-up if your pup remains with me the entire day of pick-up, I do require a daycare fee for the that day as they are filling a daycare slot. Dog walking: Is a high energy walk for 30 minutes done near your home. Additional time can be added for an additional rate. Pop-ins: are a 30-minute check-in that will include a dog walk within a 10-mile radius of my home. Times can and should be adjusted if there are multiple dogs that might take more then 30 minutes to care for.

Both of my dogs had a great time at Amy's! They made new friends, and dressed up for St. Patrick's Day. Amy was awesome about daily photos and communicating throughout the stay. Thanks Amy!

Amy is the best of every K9 world a dog owner would want. She boards, she’s a trainer, she’s a walker, but most of all she’s compassionate about all those tasks. It’s easy to pick that up, even after the first meet & greet. She made sure my two German Shepherds, Brewster 120lbs and Oliver 85lbs, were comfortable with the set up and with her. She asked all the right questions, and had follow-ups. By the time I left, I didn’t feel like I was boarding my boys so much as I was leaving them with a friend overnight. They came home happy & playful, well rested and relaxed. I plan on returning to her for all my K9 needs in the future. Thanks, Amy!!

Schedule

I am a full-time dog mom! I will have errands to run and things to do myself so I prefer if your doggy can be left for a couple hours or is crate trained. I can make exceptions for some cases but cannot dedicate myself to being home 24/7.
