Pet care experience
Flexible pet care in Wakefield
I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for a range of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and birds. I’ve looked after dogs and cats of different ages, breeds and personalities, and understand that each pet has their own routine and needs. I’ve also cared for pets with additional needs, including a senior dog with arthritis and a rabbit requiring a nebuliser. I’m comfortable following specific care instructions and making sure pets are comfortable and well looked after. My partner and I enjoy walking and would be happy to take dogs out with us, while I’m equally happy providing care and company for cats and other pets at home. I currently work Monday to Friday, 9–5, so I’m available for visits before or after work during the week, with full flexibility at weekends. For added peace of mind, I also hold an Enhanced DBS check.

I always want your pets to feel safe and settled while you’re away. I care for them in their own home where they’re happiest, sticking to their usual routine and giving them time to come to me at their own pace—especially important for shy or nervous pets. I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I know it can be hard being away from your pets, so I’ll always keep you updated with messages and plenty of photos for peace of mind.

Amy kindly came to meet Snoopy before the arranged walk, even though she was just doing one walk with Snoopy when my usual dog walker was unavailable. Really reliable and I will certainly be contacting her again!

Schedule
I work full-time, Monday to Friday, 9–5, but I’m able to fit pet care around my working hours. During the week, I can offer visits before or after work, depending on what works best for you and your pet. I’m fully flexible at weekends and can arrange walks or drop-in visits around your pet’s routine. I’m happy to be flexible with timings and work around what your pet needs.
