Amy can care for
Availability
Pet care is a regular part of my life and work, and I only take bookings I can show up for reliably and give proper attention to. I’m currently offering drop-in visits and dog walks. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and giving clear updates so you know how your pet did while you were away.

About Amy A.
Safety, trust & environment
I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and pay attention to the details you leave for me. I’m careful with doors, gates, crates, leashes, and anything that could create an escape risk. I also pay close attention to body language, especially with nervous pets or pets who need extra space. I treat your home with respect, clean up after the pet care tasks I’m there to do, and send updates so you know how your pet did while you were away.
Information Amy A. would like to know about your pet
Before a visit, it helps me know your pet’s normal routine, personality, comfort level, and anything that may make them nervous or excited. Please share any medical needs, medications, allergies, feeding instructions, potty habits, litter box routine, leash or harness preferences, and any areas of the home your pet should or should not access.
A typical day
I tailor each visit to your pets' comfort level. For dogs, I usually start with a potty break and a sniff walk so they can stretch their legs, explore, and get some fresh air. I also like to add simple enrichment, such as clicker-based brain games, fetch, tug, or other activities your dog enjoys. For cats, visits may include playtime, affection, feeding, litter box care, or quiet company depending on their personality.

Experienced Care and a Gentle Touch
Pet care experience
I have hands-on experience in many areas of pet care, including pet sitting, dog walking, drop-in care, boarding environments, grooming, veterinary assistance, rescue work, shelter work, dog training, and doggie daycare. I have worked with both dogs and cats in a variety of settings, which has helped me develop a well-rounded understanding of animal care, safety, and behavior. My experience includes administering medications, supporting pets with different grooming and handling needs, caring for nervous or unsure animals, and paying close attention to body language. I am patient, observant, and safety-focused, especially when working with pets who need extra time, space, or gentle handling. I am currently offering drop-in visits and dog walking. I bring my broader pet care background into every visit by focusing on your pet’s comfort, routine, safety, and individual personality. My goal is to help you feel confident that your pet is in dependable, experienced, and caring hands.
