Amrita stayed at my home for 2 weeks with my pup and my kitty. She was fantastic! I got lots of pics and my beasts got lots of love. I would definitely hire her again. She took great care of my home and my animals.

Amrita was an amazing sitter. Our two dogs (chocolate lab & chihuahua) can be a handful, and she took great care of them during her drop-in. She followed all dog and house requests, was punctual, and communicated with us the entire time. We look forward to her watching our boys overnight in a few weeks.

Amrita was great with both of our dogs (lab and golden) and loved and spoiled them like her own while we were out of town. She treated our home with respect on very last minute notice and it is so appreciated. The boys can’t wait to hang out with her again soon!

Unfortunately, my experience with Amrita was disappointing. I’ve used Rover for years and this was my first negative experience. While our meet and greet went well, she ultimately showed a lack of attentiveness and disregard for basic pet care. This review isn’t meant to bash her—but to help prevent other pet parents from going through what I did. I would not use her again and cannot recommend her. After a series of issues (mainly locking herself out of my home twice), I reviewed my security system and realized she wasn’t staying with the dogs nearly as much as someone house-sitting should. On night one, the dogs were left from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. (somewhat acceptable). On night two, they were left from 4 p.m. until she attempted to return at 4 a.m.—only to discover she’d misplaced the key. She didn’t regain access until around 11:30 a.m., (after she found the key with her) meaning my dogs were left alone for over 19 hours. While I don’t expect a sitter to be present 24/7, during the meet and greet I specifically asked if she’d be working outside the home or gone for long periods, and she assured me she wouldn’t. I also made it clear my senior dog needs bathroom breaks every 4–5 hours and goes out before bed around 10 p.m.—none of which was followed. I ultimately had to cut my trip short by two days to return home and care for my dogs. I’m also disappointed in Rover’s response to the situation.

Amrita was so great with our dog. She sent regular updates and photos and was very responsive while we were away. Would definitely have her watch our dog again!
