Availability
I have a Monday-Friday day job in downtown Syracuse with an ample lunch break that allows me to spend a half hour with your pet midday. Weekends belong to your pet. :) I leave as much time free to be with you pet while you’re away, but if I have a commitment or errands they can’t join me on, they are guaranteed to see me at least every 4 hours.

A typical day
I am a mountain biker, hiker, and snowshoer, and I would love to take your dog out on an adventure with me when possible! I am also a big fan of taking clients to the dog park if they enjoy it and are up-to-date on all of their vaccinations including bordetella (kennel cough). (Bordetella vaccine only required for trips to the dog park.)

To my regular clients. I am unfortunately taking an indefinite hiatus from pet-sitting. It has truly been a joy and honor to be trusted with your precious family members. I am new to the Syracuse area, but I am brining almost 20 years of petsitting experience with me! I have years of experience volunteering as a trained dog handler at Tompkins County SPCA. I have experience with dogs with behavior challenges and have worked extensively with trainers and vet behaviorists, so I am very comfortable handling "difficult" pooches. Let’s schedule a meet and greet! **To any of my Ithaca area clients I have not been able to make contact with, please know I’m going to miss each and every one of your furry family members more than I can say! Thank you for trusting me with your precious pets - it’s been an honor and a true joy!

Amoreena is amazing! She watched our pets while we were gone on vacation and stayed at our house. I felt completely comfortable and knew that our pets were well taken care of. Amoreena went above and beyond to make sure our dog was exercised, "safe" from the rain, and cuddled in bed! Amoreena sent updates and photos which was greatly appreciated. I HIGHLY recommend for any and all pet-sitting needs!
Amoreena won my pack over very quickly! They can’t wait to have her back. I have one guy who is a bit difficult. She handled him wonderfully. Felt at ease with her watching them.

This is our second time booking with Amoreena. She took great care of our dog, Rosie, and our home while we were away for the weekend. I really appreciate the frequent updates and how Amoreena adjusts activity based on Rosie's energy, the weather, etc. We will definitely be booking again!
