Hi, I’m Ammelia! I’m a volunteer at the Humane Society and recently worked as a staff member at the animal shelter for almost 1.5 years. I’ve taken care of thousands of animals in my life, most at the animal shelter where I worked as an Animal Care Technician, providing daily care to all types of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, barnyard animals, birds and more! I now volunteer instead because I am attending college where I am majoring in both Psychology and Animal Behavior 🎓🐾 I truly love and care about each animal I meet and enjoy building bonds with the pets I look after!

Our 60+ lb puppy is a handful, but Ammelia was amazing with him! She was prompt with communication and flexible with the visit time and what we needed. I plan on booking her again when we need another dog sitter.
Ammelia is so sweet and caring. Our dog really enjoys her visits and I have nothing to worry about while traveling. Great communication.
Ammelia is great with our Izzy kitty. We’ve booked her more than once. She asks great questions during the introductory visit in order to get to know your pet and sends thoughtful updates complete with pictures throughout her visits. We feel good knowing our kitty is in good hands while we’re away.
Amelia is very reliable and doesn’t hesitate to ask questions to ensure your pet gets the exact care you request. Arlo loves his visits with her.
