I make great connections with pets
I started to watch/ care for animals when I was 10 years old. Then at the age of 16 I started working at Kennelwood Pet Resorts as a camp counselor for dogs, I work there for 3 years, for my time there, I was trained on how to handle any size dog, and different types of behaviors that dogs can have. I also watch my family and friends animals as well. I have 2 dogs of my own name Bentley and Molina. My first priority is to always make sure that the animal feels safe and comfortable with me being around them/ being in their home. It’s important to make the animals feelings known to them and that they are respected. I love animals and love to take care of them and just see them happy and fulfilled.

When I watch dogs I mostly stay or visit the clients home because pets will always feel most comfortable in their own space. If the Clients give me a daily routine for their pets I will do as it says. If not I will talk with the client and ask what they will like me to do for their pet. Communication is key when comes to the care of any pet.
Ratings and reviews
Amirah did a nice job with our two German Shepherds. She regularly communicated when she watched the dogs and went above and beyond when one of our dogs got sick her first day. She helped him get back to full health. We would recommend Amirah and will call in her again in the future.
Amirah was great with our Dani girl! She was prompt with updates and messages, and sent so many pictures showing what a good time our dog was having! We highly, highly recommend her for anyone who needs a sitter!

Schedule
Right now, I am a junior in college at Mizzou. I’m available when I come home for breaks/ the summer time. I babysit as well as dog-sit.
