Dog Walking • Aug 05, 2025

I asked Amir to come to walk my two dogs, Chester and Daisy, while my son is away. After reading Amir’s qualifications and review, I had very high expectations. But I was also nervous, because my dog, Chester, was previously bitten at a day care by a Rottweiler and ever since then he can be nervous and he doesn’t take to everyone. But as soon as Amir walked through the door, I realized I have nothing to worry about. He was a professional and very calm. Chester was sitting by his side and Chester even let him pet him. After their walk, Chester always heads for the backyard, because he knows I will be following him and we will be playing with his favourite ball. But he surprised us both, when half way there, he turned around and went back to Amir, almost as to say good bye. I will definitely be using his services until my son’s return and I can highly recommend him.

As a fellow dog parent, I know how stressful it can be to leave your pup in someone else’s care. That’s why I’m writing this with full confidence: Amir is the kind of person every dog owner hopes to find. When Amir took care of my 2-year-old Labrador, Max, I immediately noticed three things: 1. He’s incredibly detail-oriented. Amir asked for Max’s feeding schedule down to the minute, his walking preferences (Max prefers grassy routes and avoids loud traffic), and even how he reacts to other dogs. That level of attentiveness told me right away—this isn’t just a gig for Amir; it’s a commitment. 2. He delivers consistency every single time. Over 30 walks and 5 overnight stays, Amir was never late. He walked Max for the full 45 minutes (tracked via GPS), stuck to our exact routine, and never once skipped a beat—even during bad weather or last-minute bookings. Max came home calm and happy every time, which any dog parent knows is the real sign of a great caregiver. 3. He communicates better than most people I know. Every walk came with a Rover card that wasn’t generic—it was personalized. “Max stopped to sniff that same tree on 5th again today 😊.” He even caught early signs of a paw irritation before I did and recommended I check it out. That proactive care? Invaluable. But what really won me over is this: Max adores him. Within five minutes of meeting Amir, Max—who is normally slow to warm up—was sitting by his side, tail wagging. That kind of connection isn’t taught; it’s felt. Dogs know when someone truly loves them, and Amir does. If your dog is your family (like Max is mine), and you’re looking for someone who is punctual, attentive, reliable, and genuinely loves dogs, hire Amir. You will never have to second-guess your decision—and your dog will thank you for it.
