A typical day
Every day is tailored to each dog’s routine, energy level, and personality to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed. The day usually starts with a morning toilet break followed by a walk suited to your dog’s needs — whether that’s a calm sniff-and-stroll or something more active. Breakfast is given according to your instructions, and I always make sure dogs are settled and comfortable. Throughout the day, I include a mix of walks, enrichment, play, and rest. Some dogs enjoy more interaction and games, while others prefer quiet downtime, so I always adjust to what suits them best. In the afternoon, dogs will usually have another walk or toilet break, followed by supervised rest and calm time. For boarding dogs, the evening is kept quiet and relaxing with a final walk, feeding if needed, and settling in for a comfortable night. I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. This can also apply to other pets excluding dogs.

Hi, I’m a qualified and experienced animal carer based in Sunderland, offering reliable dog walking, pet sitting, and home-based care services. I hold Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Animal Care, along with a Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma, giving me a strong foundation in both practical handling and animal welfare. Alongside my qualifications, I’ve completed two years of hands-on experience working on a farm with a wide variety of animals, which helped me develop confidence, patience, and a deep understanding of animal behaviour in real-world situations.
