Crazy Cat Lady Turned Dog Lover!
My name is Amie, and I am a HUGE animal lover! Growing up, I had cats, fish, and a box turtle. I fell in love with dogs while dog sitting in high school and never stopped. I have two cats of my own, Wendel and Biscuit. Biscuit was a feral kitty that I rescued from a drain pipe, and Wendel is a Snow Bengal that I rescued from a home where he was bullied by all the other cats! I have taken care of dogs of all sizes, including Newfoundlands, Malamutes, Huskies, Samoyeds, Golden Retrievers, Black Labs, Poodles, Pitbull mixes, and Teacup Chiuwawas. I am a retired marathon runner, and love to give fur babies the playtime they need. I'm very proud that I've never canceled on a rover booking in my 4+ years on this platform. So excited to meet you and your fur babies! 😀

Safety, trust & environment
I do not offer boarding in my home due to my cats, but am happy to care for your fur babies in your home! I can also water plants, bring trash/recycle bins to or from the curb, and collect any mail or packages.

Amie has been our primary cat sitter for about four years, and she is consistently wonderful it’s clear she loves animals, and especially loves cats, which is lovely and very reassuring when we leave on multi-day trips. We have one very high maintenance cat, and one easily pleased cat. And both are happy as clams after Amie’s visits. I really appreciate her updates and care.

Schedule
I have a normal 9-5 job at Amazon and work downtown 5 days a week. My availability on weekdays is limited to before 8am and after 6pm. 🙂 Please feel free to double check availability with me directly, as I do have some flexibility on a case by case basis.

- I would love to know everything you'd like to share about your dogs and cats. It's helpful to know what commands your dog (or cat!) knows or is learning, leash behavior, typical routine, feeding schedule, walk route, behaviors you're trying to discourage and encourage, favorite toys, how/where they like pets most, etc.
