Loving care for your dogs & cats
If I am honest, I prefer the company of animals to humans. I have looked after dogs for several years and I absolutely love it. I work from home a few days per week and I am available to look after your dog and treat them like one of the family. They will be so welcome in my home and can join me in all parts of the house. I am happy for meet and greets also, to ensure that you will be comfortable and that your doggo can get a feel for where they will be staying. I have so much love to give pets and this way I can enjoy their company while helping out pet owners that need a loving home to look after their doggo. A bit about me - I have always loved animals, growing up next to a nature reserve, I was surrounded by horses, ducks, chickens and dogs. I would always be found with them and also used to try to sneak in insects, toads and slow worms as temporary pets (my parents loved that 😅). In addition, I had my own cat and dog which I absolutely adored. I loved animals so much that I studied a Masters in biology, with my thesis being in animal behaviour.

Honestly could fault Amie and her partner. They had Freddie for a night, last minute booking, meet and greet completed, and it was honestly so refreshing to feel so comfortable leaving your dog at someone else's house. Constant pupdates, a very happy dog, and very reasonable price. Will definitely be using Amie and her partner again.
Kiki loved her stay with Amie. Would definitely book again.

Schedule
I work from home 2-3 days a week and am away for the rest. I would only accept a request when I know I will be working from home; I could never leave a dog or cat alone for hours, which is why I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a securely fenced garden with plenty of space for dogs. All pets are welcome in any room unless specified by the owner. I will be at home all of the time when pet sitting, where your pets can keep me company. I would encourage all pet owners to bring their favourite toys and blankets etc. so that they would feel more at home while you are away.
A typical day
I am a very active person and would love to take your dog(s) for a long walk and play with them like tug of war or fetch. The same is true for cats, minus the walk, unless they have a lead and hardness of course! I also love cwtching up to pets on the sofa when chilling in the evenings.
