Hi! I'm a huge dog lover and, together with my husband Jon, we provide a safe, loving home-from-home for dogs. We share our home with our friendly Goldendoodle, George, and our two dog-loving children (aged 10 and 13), so visiting dogs become part of our family while they're with us. I've owned dogs for the past seven years, including a Cocker Spaniel and now George, and I also grew up with a family sheepdog. This has given me experience with different breeds, personalities and energy levels, and I understand that every dog is unique. We live an active lifestyle and love getting outdoors. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, a gentle stroll or even a run, I'm happy to tailor their exercise to suit their age, energy level and individual needs. I'd love the opportunity to welcome your dog into our family and give them the same love and care that we give George.

I have known Amie since we were children and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her as a dog sitter. She’s a kind and genuinely caring person who has trained two dogs from puppies and has also spent much time around dogs belonging to family and friends. She’s calm and confident with dogs and is experienced in managing them around children and other animals, including when they’re feeling nervous or unsure. She has a spacious, welcoming home that provides a great environment for them, and I know she’d look after other people’s pets with the same responsibility and care that she shows with her own.
Amie is an amazing dog mum to her dog George and very kind and caring. She has invested lots of time in understanding training and behaviour of dogs to help bring out the best in them and make sure they feel relaxed. As a very active person Amie gives George loads of exercise and lots of love and cuddles.
Amie has a kind and understanding way with animals. She would provide a safe and caring environment for any dog and always ensure their wellbeing as a priority. Amie is a generous hearted person who is friendly and personable, definitely someone you could trust in any circumstance and rely on when needed. Schedule
As I work from home full-time, your dog will have plenty of company, attention and care throughout the day. We walk George three times a day so are regularly out and about. I'll always follow their usual routine as closely as possible, helping them feel relaxed, secure and at home while you're away. In terms of availability, I can be flexible with most days and times for boarding and walks, given a few weeks notice.

- We have a fenced back garden - We can accommodate your dogs sleeping needs (e.g. crate trained or not) - I have experience caring for anxious dogs and understand the importance understanding each dogs needs, patience, consistency and reassurance. - I'll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, well cared for and having a great time. Building trust and a genuine bond with every dog is really important to me. I love spending time playing, enriching and having fun with dogs, and I use a positive, reward-based approach to help them feel happy and confident.
