Ami can care for
Availability
I am a recent MSCS graduate working part time while searching for a full time software job. I have a part-time job 2-3 days a week during the daytime, but otherwise available for housesitting or visits with flexible hours. I am based in Ballard but my work is in Fremont so I prefer requests in these two neighborhoods.

Safety, trust & environment
I pay attention to your pets and act quickly to fulfill any of their needs. For instance, the senior dog I cared for had multiple accidents throughout the day. For every occasion I went over and cleaned up the mess immediately. I work with each pet with patience and try to make the experience as comfortable as I can for them. I check in with pets frequently and am punctual to get their meal ready and take them out for a walk. I am also a runner so I have a lot of energy to play with pets and will be happy to take them on a run, if requested.
Information Ami Y. would like to know about your pet
It would be nice to know the basic daily routine of a dog - for instance, what time do they have food? When do they like to go on walks? It would also be helpful to know how a dog reacts to different situations, so that I can avoid anything that they don't do well with - i.e. are they ok socializing with other dogs? How would they react if they see little animals like squirrels and bunnies?
A typical day
I would play with them with toys, give them a good scratch/belly rubs, give treats; I like to go on walks around Lake Union, the quiet neighborhood in Ballard, and around Greenlake.

Reviews

Ami was a wonderful sitter for our dog Mika! She sent frequent updates and photos which helped us feel comfortable. She also took great care of our home while she was sitting. We would love to have Ami dogsit again!

Felt very safe leaving my pets with Ami. She took the time to learn my dog’s quirks and helped with her training while I was away.

Ami was great to work with, super communicative and took great care of our little guy. We will definitely book her again!

Ami is a great dog sitter for our two dogs! Given our one doggo has separation anxiety, she knows that a calm presence helps cure all. She provides great communications and pics throughout her time with them. Very grateful to have found Ami!
