Dog Park Next Door · Home Full-Time
I board dogs at my place in Sunnyvale and work from home, so there's always someone around. No long hours alone. I've looked after dogs for friends and family for years, plus my own golden retriever Scooby, so I'm used to different personalities and energy levels. I'm comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic grooming, and giving oral meds if needed. Just tell me your dog's quirks and routine and I'll follow them to the letter. My community, Avalon Silicon Valley, has its own dog park, and Muwékma Park is nearby too, so the dogs I board get plenty of exercise and playtime, from off-leash fun and socializing to long walks and games of fetch.

Bourbon stayed with Amey for over a week and he came back being happy. Amey made sure to address all the daily care routine and activity. Im very very satisfied with Bourbons stay with Amey and will for sure repeat.

After arranging for Amey to board my Darby, we were able to meet for a meet and greet in advance. Having met Amey as well as his wife and their dog Scooby I could tell that Darby would be in good hands. Amey was great about sending me photos to show me how well she was doing. I was quite confident that she was being well taken care of during her stay.

Ey was super responsive and patient with me and my puppy. Shared pictures and she had a great time! Will def book again.

Amey was great! He gave my senior dog two walks a day. He was compliant with her medication. He was very responsive and sent pictures. I definitely recommend him to all future clients.

Amey is one of the most responsible and caring people I know when it comes to pets. He is patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. Pets naturally feel comfortable around him because of his calm and loving nature. I would absolutely trust Amey to provide safe, reliable, and affectionate care for any pet.

Schedule
I work full-time in tech, from home, so I'm around all day: mornings, midday, evenings, weekends. Your dog won't be sitting alone waiting for someone to come home.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your dog stays in my apartment with me and Scooby, my golden. He's friendly and good with other dogs. I keep an eye on them when they're playing together, and there's always fresh water out. I'll follow your dog's normal feeding and walk routine so it feels as close to home as possible.
Pets
A typical day
Mornings start with a walk and breakfast on your dog's usual schedule. During the day there's playtime (fetch, tug, or a trip to the dog park) plus potty breaks every few hours. Evenings are dinner, another walk, then winding down. High-energy dogs get more park time; chill dogs get more couch time. I adjust to whatever your dog's like.
