I do work full time at the moment but I’m free most Fridays and Saturdays. Generally when I house sit, I make sure to dedicate my free time towards the animals under my care. I ask that any pet sitting requests be made in advance so I can adjust my schedule to your companion :)

I have a passion for socializing animals and helping them come out of their shells. I’d be more than happy to provide a calm and loving presence for your pet so that they can be comfortable.

I love walking and exploring places when the weather is nice. Hiking is one of my favorite activities and I’d love to take your dog out if they enjoy it as well! I can give them lots of attention and enrichments as well catered towards their needs and personality! For cats: I can spend time playing with your kitty to release some of their energy, brush them, or even just give them some company! If you’d like me to, I can trim their nails as well given that they are comfortable with it.

I have a wide range of experience with various types of animals such as birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, dogs and cats. I've taken care of animals since childhood and always wanted a career in animal care. I have 5 rescue cats of my own, and 1 foster cat so unfortunately I’m not offering boarding services at this time! I would love to help take care of your furry companions. I previously worked full time as a manager for an animal shelter back in NYC and I can provide lots of references who can speak on my experience and ability to care for animals if needed as well :) If you’re more comfortable with paying cash/venmo please feel free to let me know

Amena was the best. Kept the dogs having fun and cared for them well. Would definitely recommend.
This was our first time using Rover. Amena took wonderful care of my pup and my home. Everything was spotlessly clean when we returned home. She sent lots of updates and photos, which was appreciated so much!! I would definitely recommend her and plan to have her sit for us again.
Amena did a wonderful job for drop in visits with my 2 cats while I was on vacation! She was also available last minute for me to add in another visit because I was concerned with the temperature in my home! That put my mind at ease while I was away. She was great with my cats (one of whom usually stays hidden from visitors!) she also sent me photos each day of the cats which reassured me they were doing just fine! She even brought treats and left some extra -which they LOVED!!! She noticed one of my cats needed their nails trimmed and was able to do this which I greatly appreciated because I’m new to having cats and didn’t yet know how to do that! I will definitely be contacting Amena for all my future needs!
Amena was prompt, professional, easy to communicate with and wonderful with Bertie. I will call her again!
