I have grown up around pets all of my life, having had multiple dogs and cats throughout. As a teenager, I would be trusted by neighbors to sit multiple pets at a time while they went on vacation. More than that, I am familiar with senior pet care and administering oral medicine.

Sugar hates when I leave her even just to go to work for the day! So, she certainly wasn't pleased when I recently traveled to Cancun for a 2 week trip. Luckily, Amelie did a great job at making her feel a little less alone around the empty house. She was always on time to feedings and even sent me lots of pictures of her playing with Sugar. Usually I get hissed at and hidden from for days after returning from being away, but this time she was only mildly annoyed at my reappearance. So clearly she was in good hands. Would absolutely recommend to other cat parents, and would love to have Amelie back next time I need a getaway.
Although she raves about her two children (cats) daily, Amelies love for animals goes far beyond her own. When our friend rescued a dog last year, Amelie connected with him immediately, and the normally reactive puppy calmed by her company, and quickly became at home in our community.
