I’m home from school for the summer until mid-august, and my schedule/availability is extremely flexible and open! I have pets of my own but they’re mostly self sufficient, so i have lots of time in the day to offer care for other pets as well.

I feed my pets regularly, sometimes twice a day if i notice a change or increase in their appetite. I play with them almost every chance i get, and all of my pets are incredibly social and friendly. Im used to cleaning up after cats and small dogs, but no animal is ever too big or small for me to refuse to care for them. I have a history of walking and dogsitting for other family members, so i would gladly help my community as well.

Please let me know if there are any conditions or concerns that i should watch out for with your pets, such as allergies or things they dont like, i.e. loud sounds or sudden movements. This way i can be prepared on how to act or so that i can spot any warning signs to prevent any harm from happening.
A typical day
I will play with your pets, allowing them to burn off lots of energy that they built up while you were away, playing games or going on walks is definitely a must! Relaxation is also a priority, as i understand some animals have separation anxiety or anxiety around new people, so i will be sure to offer the most pleasant experience that i can with them by feeding them, being gentle and kind with them, and moving at their pace to ensure they are the most comfortable under my care.

I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, and i have a special place in my heart for all the critters that we call pets. I’ve had two dogs for 13 years of my life, cats for 2 years, and i regularly work with nearby shelters to take care of their furbabies; and i would love to have the privilege of taking care of yours as well. :)

Amelie is such a kind amd caring person. She did such a great job taking care of my two kitties and garden while I was on a trip. She was super communicative and kept me in the loop the whole time. I was nervous leaving my kitties and home because I have never left them this long but having Amelie put my mind at ease. I can't recommend her enough!!
