I’m currently home from university for the summer, which means I have plenty of flexibility and availability for pet care. My schedule is fairly open, including weekends, and I’m happy to accommodate regular bookings or last-minute requests where possible. I’d love to know about your pet’s routine, favourite activities, quirks and anything that helps them feel comfortable. Every animal is different, and the more I know beforehand, the easier it is for me to make their time with me feel familiar and enjoyable. Please also let me know about any dietary requirements, medications or special instructions.
A typical day
A typical day depends entirely on the pet! For dogs, that usually means walks, playtime, enrichment and plenty of attention throughout the day. I love being outdoors and exploring local footpaths, commons and green spaces, so active dogs are always welcome. For cats, I’m happy to spend time playing, keeping them company or simply respecting their space if they’re more independent. Whatever their personality, my goal is to make sure they have a happy and stress-free day.

Hi, I’m Amelia! I’ve grown up with dogs and have been dog sitting for friends, family and neighbours for several years, both while studying at university in Southampton and now back home for the summer. I currently have a Springer Spaniel and two Romanian rescue dogs, so I’m used to everything from high-energy adventure dogs to those who need a little more patience and understanding. I also attend training classes and do agility with my Springer, which has given me a good understanding of dog behaviour and positive reinforcement training. I know every dog is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and routines. Whether that’s long walks, playing fetch, practising training exercises or simply keeping them company at home. I’ll always treat your dog as if they were my own and make sure you receive regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away without worrying.

Fantastic, noodle is loving his walks with Amelia
Amelia is absolutely unflappable as a dogsitter - she handled getting stuck outside our flat and dealt with Dillon's nervous weeing all the next day so when we came home we had a happy, relaxed dog again! Utterly bomb proof and we will miss her lots and lots!
Dillon just adores Amelia! Always a very waggy tail when she's at the front door!
