Hi There! My name is Amelia and I've been professionally caring for and exercising the most amazing dogs for my dog camp business, Pomeroy Pup Pack. With over a decade's worth of hands-on experience with hundreds of different dogs of varying sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments, I'm proud to be well versed in the realm of dog to dog communication, and I use this knowledge to serve my clients and their dogs every single day. From your high octane, jovial adolescent to your sensitive, demure senior, my approach to interacting with dogs starts by coming to understand who they are as individuals so that I may know how best to support their needs. At this time, I'm currently offering home-based dog camp for dogs under 40 lbs! Day Camp is a thoughtfully designed experience - fostering a fun, peaceful, and personalized environment. With a strong focus in behavioral wellness, we give small and medium-sized dogs the space and freedom to play, explore, and interact at their own pace. We have over half an acre of soon-to-be-fenced grass and woods for exploration and ample exercise.

Our yard is over 1/2 an acre and currently partially fenced - we plan to finish fencing it May of this year, 2025, which will allow for even more outdoor fun and enrichment! Until it's fully fenced, dogs will get to explore freely with the security of long lines.

Amelia is a great caretaker and is very knowledgeable in taking care of dogs. She has worked with dogs for many years and has had a great heart the whole time. While she has trained dogs and taken care of them in a kennel setting, she has also watched my dog/taken him for walks. My dog was beyond happy every time to see Amelia and was so happy afterwards. She would take him for nice long walks and make sure he had lots of water during and after. When she stayed with him, he was calm and had no issues at all. We don’t like to kennel our dog since it is stressful for him, and Amelia has been a lifesaver for us to avoid the kennel. Along with that, she respected the space in our home and treated everything with care. I would highly recommend Amelia to walk or provide any other care for your dog, she will treat them with the best care possible.
I have seen Amelia serve as a talented, experienced, and responsible pet caregiver. She has an instinct with dogs unlike most dog trainers I’ve seen. She is very responsible, and I trust her to take care of my house and animals. I highly recommend Amelia.
Amelia is an excellent pet owner and caretaker. She is honest, trustworthy, reliable and really cares for her clients. Amelia went above and beyond with caring for my dog Willow while I was recovering from birth. Her dedication to pets’ health and wellness is unmatched and her dog Yogi is a great example of her commitment to training. Yogi is also very sweet and gets along well with my dog Willow, they have had backyard playdates a few times and Willow was very happy being in her big yard. I recommend her to anyone that wants the best care for their pets and is looking for someone to go the extra mile. Though she may be new to Rover, Amelia has many years experience as a pet sitter, trainer and walker through her personal business with many happy clients including myself!

Schedule
Working with dogs from my home full time allows me to seamlessly integrate dogs into my care. After your dog arrives, they'll be given ample outdoor time to sniff, romp, and play with any other pups (if the temperaments compliment one another, which will be evaluated through a meticulously structured meet and greet). Throughout the day, dogs rotate from enjoying outdoor fun to taking indoor rest breaks.

- Every dog is an individual. If your dog has any specific preferences or behavioral quirks, such as resource guarding, allergies, phobias, fears, or other needs, I'm glad to discuss this upon our first phone call or meeting to make sure that I have a solid profile of who your pup is to be able to care for them the best ways possible.
