She did great! I was updated on my pups throughout my trip and felt very comfortable with her watching them. She left the house so close to how I left it, you couldn't even tell someone stayed there. Will book again. ☺️

My dog loves her and he doesn’t like anyone! Even the cat cozied up which is a miracle. I only use Amelia.

Amelia did a fantastic job watching our 3 animals for over a week! Their care seemed excellent - daily updates and pictures, feeding instructions followed, frequent walks for our senior dog, and the house was very clean and tidy when we got home. We would definitely have Amelia watch our animals again anytime!

We did not have a pleasant experience with Amelia. We clearly outlined the schedule that we expected her to follow when it came to staying and house sitting our dogs. We internationally selected house sitting services so that our dogs are not left unsupervised during the day. On her arrival, we observed that she had left one of our dogs crated much longer than he should’ve been only because he barked at her during the meet and greet. Naturally, dogs will bark at new visitors and instead of giving him a chance to sniff her, she stayed tense the whole visit making it very uncomfortable. I asked her if she was fine and she stated she was and seemed positive about taking the job. However, it was heartbreaking watching him lay in his crate longer than he was supposed to while she played with the other dogs in front of him. Also, the agreement was for her to stay and watch the dogs all day other than the hours she had work. On one of the full days we needed her to stay, we saw on our dog camera that she only stayed for 2 hours after returning from her work shift. After already leaving them unattended due to work, she left them unattended for another 7 hours returning in the evening. She failed to communicate any of this to us and when asked how it was going, she responded dishonestly giving the perception as if she was watching our dogs the whole time. It left us stressed out all day on our trip as we watched every hour go by and our dogs were left unsupervised. We paid for house sitting services and expected the agreement of the schedule outlined to be followed, yet the agreed hours were not followed and our dogs were fed late everyday for almost every meal. In the future we hope she is able to gain better experience with handling unfamiliar dogs and can be fully transparent to clients who trust her to care for their animals. We were initially excited to work with Amelia after reading all of the positive reviews, however unfortunately we did not have the same experience.

Amelia was so good with our two big doggies, who can be a handful. Her very first night our pit lunged at our bedroom window and broke it and cut her paw. Amelia sealed the window shut with cardboard and tape and a baby gate like Macgyver and doctored up the paw. She made very good calls on what to do for the rest of the stay with the injured pup and left our house clean as a whistle. She even came back for a second dog sitting experience after all that!

Amelia did a very good job! We had her come watch my Mom’s 2 cats while we went away for a weekend. She made sure to play with them, give them treats and lots of love. She cleaned the litter box and washed their water bowl for them. We already have her scheduled for our next trip. Thanks Amelia!
