Caring, loving, and experienced
I have taken care of pets starting at the age of 9 when my parents got me my first puppy. I had raised and trained him on my own, had responsibility of restocking and refilling food and water, as well as grooming, bathing, and bathroom use. Flash forward to when it came to my own dogs senior years, I had learned to understand the extra care that comes along with that. At the age of 13 I had started pet sitting for family and friends. Whether it be walking next door to my neighbors, taking care of a pet in my home, or having my mom drive me someone’s household, I’ve always enjoyed taking care of and playing with pets. At the age of 16 when I had gotten my license, I had started offering to do overnights at peoples homes for their pets and had driven myself to homes multiple times in a day to care for them. I think it’s important to be present, playful, and all around loving to each and every pet. I love to meet new pets and prioritize creating comfort between the animal and I.

I have grown up having dogs my entire life (Also having chickens, geese, and bunnies). Being a pet owner gives perspective in terms of creating a sound environment. When I go on vacation or need someone to care for my animals, I look for qualities that many others would. Trust, responsibility, and genuine care. When roles reverse, I behold these qualities to ensure that whoever I am caring for receives this level of comfort from these qualities.
Ratings and reviews
Amelia has always taken great care of any animal she has come across. She is super compassionate and takes even the smallest care details seriously. We never hesitate to leave our poodle, Winston, with her because we know he will be taken care of in the same way we do. Winston is always super excited to see her and immediately jumps into her arms to give her cuddles and that speaks volumes about her care.
Amelia has always been such a nice, caring and loving animal caretaker. From scheduled visits to longer stays, she has proven to always be there for my animals. I couldn’t recommend her services enough (my pups think the same!!).
Amelia is the most responsible, caring, and knowledgeable person when it comes to taking care of animals. With a wide variety of pets herself, she has slowly gained knowledge over the years regarding what it means to be a caregiver to different pets. Amelia is also a great communicator, often leaving people with very few questions after she explains her careful process of animal caregiving. She leaves no questions unanswered, and takes pride in providing updates to the guardians of the pets she cares for. Amelia also brings an upbeat attitude to her work everyday, and is grateful for every experience that comes her way!
I highly recommend Amelia for Rover. She is one of the most loving, responsible, and attentive pet parents I know. The care and dedication she gives to her senior dog, Koa, truly shows how compassionate and dependable she is. Koa is not just a pet to her — he is family. Amelia is incredibly patient and attentive to Koa’s needs, especially as he has gotten older. She always makes sure he is comfortable, healthy, exercised appropriately, and surrounded by love and care. She has a natural connection with animals and treats every pet with kindness and compassion. Anyone would be lucky to have Amelia care for their pets. I would fully trust her with any animal and know she would provide a safe, loving, and dependable environment.
Amelia is one of the most responsible people I have met and takes great care and love for animals. I would recommend her to anybody looking for pet care.
Amelia is a wonderful, responsible pet caregiver. She consistently prioritizes the needs of her pets, going the extra mile to make them comfortable and happy! I’d trust her to watch any of my pets, knowing they’d be in wonderful hands for the duration of the job.

Schedule
I’m currently working full time but have weekday evenings open and weekends open!! I have pets myself as home and pet care fits into my routine very naturally. Thankfully I have family to help out with my pets when I’m not there and can give full care to other pets when needed!
