I ended the service early as I did not feel our dog was getting the care he needed. Amelia was not as communicative as I would’ve liked. I felt I had to be the one reaching out to find out how our dog was doing, if she had arrived okay the first day, how administering the medications went, etc. When I did get a response it was short and contained little details. The first day Amelia was late which was a bummer, but I understand things happen/come up. It was brought to my attention ahead of time and I was okay with it if her wife came over and assisted with care. But at one point her wife was at our house with two other males I had never met and this visit was not discussed with me beforehand. I did address this with Amelia and she said she understood and it wouldn’t happen again, it still made me feel uncomfortable. Due to family illnesses and personal illnesses it felt as if Amelia was being pulled in a lot of directions and was not able to provide the care our dog needed given he is diabetic and requires insulin and feeding on a regular schedule.

So amazing with my dog Mochi!! We love the care we got and responsiveness. Hiring again for sure!

Unfortunately I had a negative experience with this sitter. Behavioural issues of my dogs were reported that I had never personally seen and had never been reported by previous sitters. I received very sparse updates, with only 2 picture updates for the entire 2 week stay, and one of them was my dogs running free in their apartment hallways. After a fight was reported between my dogs and their unfixed dog, I offered to find a new sitter but they said they could keep them separated instead. I fear that separated means they kept my dogs locked in their bathroom. They reported that one of my dogs was having accidents all over their house, a dog who has never had issues with accidents before this sit, nor any issues in the week since the sit concluded. This further makes me concerned that my dogs were not receiving the quality of care that I expected.

Amelia N. cancelled a booking within a day of the start date.

Amelia has done an amazing job caring for our playful cats/kittens over the past year! He’s always been on time with our twice daily feeding schedule. He treats them as his own & gives them lots of love & attention. Now that we just got 2 puppies, I’ll definitely hire him to care for our puppies too! He’s the only person I trust to care for all our fur babies while we are out of town because I know they are in great hands. I definitely recommend Amelia! You won’t be disappointed in his pet care services!
