Wildlife Expert + Pet Lover!
Hello! As a pet lover my entire life, it seemed only natural that I would expand that love into helping out others in my community. I grew up with cats (and have a kitty now!) and was able to reap the doggy benefits from friends and family as life has progressed. My family is dog obsessed- with my aunt owning 7 Dachshunds that are a complete hoot, as well as my cousin running an animal shelter out in Chicago! Locally, most of my friends have dogs, and one of my favorite weekend activities is going on hikes with them or just some backyard playtime while us human-folks catch up. As an avid outdoorswoman, I love hiking/walking in all weather, and would love to take some pups along for the ride!

My cat is special needs, so unfortunately it wouldn’t work to have other animals board in my apartment. That being said, I have experience giving animals medicine/monitoring their symptoms. I would happily help out any other animals with special diets/medications! I am also a local wildlife expert/naturalist so am familiar with the regions flora and fauna with what is safe and unsafe for domesticated animals with which to interact.

Schedule
As a teacher, I am pretty flexible with my schedule now that school is out for the summer. The weekends can be a bit tricker, but with advance notice I would happily carve out walk times. For drop-in visits, I’d be happy to work with you all to set up my Nest Cam for you all to check in on your pet while you are away! It requires you to have Wifi access while on vacation, and it’s a fun way to check in on your fur family 😺 I can only use with one animal at a time, so if it’s already booked, I’ll let you know!
