Hi, I’m Amelia! I’ve been caring for animals since I was a kid, starting with the cats, chickens, and even a turtle that belonged to my neighbors. Over the years, I’ve walked three dogs for one family weekly, fostered kittens, and provided patient care to shy, anxious, and even traumatized pets. I truly believe that building trust with animals takes patience, attention to detail, and a lot of love. One of the most rewarding moments for me is when a nervous pet finally feels safe enough to seek affection.

In clients' homes, I make sure pets feel comfortable by following their usual routines and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I’m very respectful of your space—keeping things clean, tidying up after pets, and ensuring your home stays just as you left it.

I had a wonderful experience with Amelia, who took care of my cat for three weeks! She is incredibly attentive and patient. When she first arrived, my cat was very scared and hid away. However, Amelia didn't rush things at all. With her gentle approach and great patience, my cat slowly warmed up to her, and they eventually started interacting and playing together. Having her around for three weeks gave me total peace of mind, knowing my shy cat was in such loving and reliable hands. This was our second time booking Amelia, and once again she handled everything we asked with great responsibility and care. She is reliable, trustworthy, and clearly truly loves animals. Amelia has been a huge help while I recover from surgery. She's the first Rover sitter I've hired, and it's been a great experience. My dog Rafa is sweet, but also reactive and a bit too smart for his own good sometimes. Amelia has been kind and patient with him and I know he's in good hands with her.

Schedule
I am currently on summer break from college and will be working on home projects, odd jobs, and a doing a little travel for the next few months. I’m looking for irregular jobs or part time regular commitments to fill my time.
