I've had dogs since I was 12 and was responsible at a young age with walks, feeding, etc. I pet-sit friend's dogs over the years. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages! J'ai des chiens depuis l'âge de 12 ans et j'étais responsable dès mon plus jeune âge des promenades, de l'alimentation, etc. J'ai gardé des chiens des amis depuis plusieurs années. Je suis à l'aise avec les chiens de toutes tailles et de tous âges!

When visiting a client's home, my priority is always to build trust with the animal; having a calm and friendly demeanour. I find its important to keep in mind that you are entering the animal's space and let them warm to you slowly if need be. Lors de mes visites au domicile d'un client, ma priorité est toujours d'établir un climat de confiance avec l'animal ; avoir une attitude calme et amicale. Je trouve qu'il est important de garder à l'esprit que vous entrez dans l'espace de l'animal et de le laisser se réchauffer lentement si nécessaire.

I recently had the pleasure of using Amelia as our In-Home dog sitter for the first time, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. Amelia was incredibly kind and attentive to Buffalo's needs - providing regular updates and pics that kept us informed and reassured while we were away. She treated our home with great respect, keeping everything tidy and organized exactly as we left it. Overall, our first experience with Amelia was fantastic, and we look forward to having her take care of Buffalo again.

Amelia is an absolute natural with animals. She is very playful and has great instincts when to engage, when to leave them alone. My kittens took to her immediately and they formed a beautiful bond. I feel very comforted when she is taking care of them when I go away.
Amelia is one of the most caring pet owners and pet sitter I've met. She's great at adapting to different dog and cat personalities. Our friendly Chihuahua loves her hugs, while our distrustful and anxious Dachshund feels at ease with her calming presence. Amelia is dependable and intuitive. When she suspects a dog is feeling under the weather or uncomfortable she's good at keeping track of a dog's mood and to react appropriately which is very reassuring for long periods of separation with our pups. As a previous owner of big dogs, Amelia has a good range of knowledge on dog safety and dog walking etiquette.
Amelia has pet sit for me multiple times! I have a slightly tricky situation with cats who don’t get along and need to be separated so things could go badly with the wrong person in charge. I have never once worried knowing that Amelia is taking care of them.

Schedule
I am a freelancer and work almost entirely from home. With my flexible schedule I'd be available for week-day walks or weekend visits, even if they are last minute! Je suis une travailleur autonome et je travaille presque entièrement chez moi. Grâce à mon horaire flexible, je serais disponible pour des promenades en semaine ou des visites le week-end, même si elles sont de dernière minute !
