I’m currently in school, about to graduate with my masters degree and will be pursuing my doctoral degree beginning in the Fall of 2023. I will have flexibility with my schedule so I will have plenty of time for walks and playing with the furry members of your family! I am available for dog-sitting primarily on weekends, but will also be available during the weekdays to stay and watch over your furry family members.

I appreciate meeting with the family before sitting or walking your furry family members as I think it is important for me to understand their specific needs. If they have a regimen they follow, I appreciate the time beforehand to learn the regimen specifically how the family prefers before staying with them overnight. I very much enjoy adhering to guidelines for your specific furry family members and want to keep them safe and loved-on while you are out of the home.

I've taken care of animals of every kind since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, friends-of-friends, family, and newly introduced families have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets as if they were my own. I grew up around horses, dogs, cats, bunnies, chickens, goats, donkeys, and many more creatures. I am a horse-girl that never grew out of the "horse-girl phase." I've worked and lived on a farm in my younger years to specifically watch the horses, chickens, and cows on the property. I am an all-animal-lover, period. My neighbor called on me in fifth grade to help her train her golden retriever puppies. I have cared for animals post-surgery and have had to follow a specific regimen for elderly animals needing to be fed in certain ways, including giving medications. Animals are a passion of mine and a form of therapy for me. I care for all animals as if they were my own. All animals deserve love, period. Bully breeds have a special place in my heart due to the bad rap they receive.

Amelia was super helpful when I needed my cat and dog watched for a week when my grandma died. I was nervous using Rover for the first time, and needed someone ASAP who was responsible enough to care for the health needs my cat has. Bailey (my cat) was dealing with FLUTD at the time when this occurred, and needed someone who could prioritize my pets care whilst I was dealing with my worst days. Along with Bailey, I have my dog (Toby) and he is a maltypoo and needs walked daily. Amelia was prompt in her response, was able to meet (remotely or in person) for a discussion on the needs that had to be met (for my own sanity!!!) before I could leave town, and was friendly and professional from the get go. She met Bailey and Toby and was able to help me in my hour of greatest need, and I was able to be stress free while dealing with tragedy struck family members for that week. I have since used Amelia several more times, and my animals love her!!! I have complete trust in Amelia to care for any animal, and she has shown her knowledge and experience time and again when I've used her.
Amelia is a wonderful care taker and always responsible! She loves animals and cares for them very thoroughly! She will take wonderful care of your pets!
