I’ve done dog walking and drop in visits in the past working with dogs, small critters, and cats. I have about 2 years of experience with dog walking and drop in visits and haven’t had any complaints that I know of from the pet owners that I was working with. I understand the body language of both dogs and cats and I’m able to respect the pets boundaries and know how to access a situation. I also used to work at the animal shelter for a bit!

I have 2 cats and I take care of them by feeding them wet food 2 times a day and dry food throughout the day and I also scoop their litter boxes and play with them. I’m very respectful of clients homes and respect the rules they have in place for their home because everyone’s care for their pets and homes are different.
Ratings and reviews
We were very happy to have Amelia check in on our two dogs while we were away for a week. We asked her to come mid-day to walk them because my son didn't get home til late. She added daily pictures and gave me updates, also answered any of my questions right away. She was always punctual and reliable. I would hire her again!
Our two dogs are extremely wary of strangers and don't get along with other dogs, so having someone dog sit in our home was our only option. Amelia was gracious enough to come visit us and the meet with the girls at least 6-7 times over a two month period. By the time we left, the girls were as comfortable with Amelia as they were with us. While we were gone, Amelia sent updates and pictures for the 12 days we were gone. I would highly recommend Amelia to others and will definitely use her again.

She has a passion for animal behavior and is pursuing a degree in wildlife biology. She’s dependable, patient, and truly enjoys making sure every pet feels comfortable and cared for. Currently I don’t have a job other than Rover so I have the time to take care of your pets and my schedule is pretty open.
