I’ve grown up around dogs (especially pointers) so caring for them feels second nature. I currently look after my own dog Monty, featuring in many of my pictures, who keeps me on my toes. He makes daily walks a non-negotiable (and very welcome) part of my routine. He is a rescue pup who suffered with severe anxiety and lacked training when we first got him. While i’m not qualified in dog training i have devoted much of my time to train him. Over the years I’ve also housesat for friends and family, often looking after their pets while they’re away, which has helped me become confident with all kinds of breeds and home routines.
