I’ve grown up around both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. For the past 8 years, I’ve regularly walked, boarded, and cared for my mum’s French bulldog, Coco, giving me hands-on experience with daily routines, companionship, play and attentive care. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs in my home for up to two weeks at a time while they’ve been on holiday, so I’m comfortable providing consistent, loving care over longer stays. I’m patient, reliable, and love getting to know each pet’s personality and needs.

My dog had a lovely time with Amelia. She kept us updated throughout and sent pictures which was reassuring. The process was really easy and it felt like Teddy went from home to another. There is no one else I would trust more than Amelia with my dog. She has been looking after our little pup for years and is so conscientious, wonderful and accommodating. Story just runs into her house without a second thought or look back. It’s such a comfort and relief knowing that she’s happy and well looked after.
Amelia came to the rescue with a late notice booking and even managed to fit in a meet and greet to calm any nerves I had leaving my boy with a new person and for such a long day. She took great care of him, with plenty of pupdates and pics. Thank you Amelia!
I honestly couldn’t recommend Amelia highly enough. From the very first meeting it was clear how kind, reliable, and genuinely passionate she is about dogs. She took such amazing care of Reggie, keeping me updated with messages and photos and giving me complete peace of mind while I was away. My dog absolutely adores her, and I always come home to a happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for pup. It’s so clear that she treats every dog as if they were her own. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and truly brilliant at what she does, Amelia is an absolute gem!
Amelia has taken care of my dog Rupert several times, and I honestly couldn’t ask for better. It’s truly a home from home - I never worry when he’s with her. She sends regular updates and he always looks so happy and contented. Rupert absolutely loves his time with Amelia, he's always excited to see her! My short haired Dachshund Colin loved his time with Amelia. She made him feel safe and comfortable. Colin was so settled he did not want to come home! I will definitely be using Amelia again. Thank you!

Schedule
I’m currently working part time so have dedicated days off, and work from home one day a week, which could suit anyone looking to establish consistency of care for their dog as part of a new routine. Please note, my daycare rate is based on 8:30-17:30 Monday to Friday and 10:00-17:00 Saturday & Sunday. Additional care outside of these times will be an extra £6 per hour capped at a total of my overnight rate, and the total will be confirmed to you before I accept your booking.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a good sized enclosed garden and open plan (hard floor) living for dogs to enjoy. I have a bath with shower and am happy to bathe dogs as requested. I have lots of dog toys, blankets and towels and your dog will always have a full water bowl. Dietary requirements and dog needs will be catered to as requested.
A typical day
Whatever the specific dog enjoys and needs. Whether that’s playtime, walking, brain stimulation or watching TV - I’m flexible, fun and caring, always putting dogs needs first.
