I work a full-time job, but I always make time for my own dog in the evenings, and sometimes early mornings as well. I am (typically) fully available Saturdays and Sundays, and my weekly schedule is pretty flexible, generally speaking.

I have a fenced yard with a friendly Golden Retriever who plays well with other dogs. I feed my dog 2x per day and he is allowed on the furniture, as other dogs would be as well.

Information Amelia G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know how your dog interacts with other dogs, as well as men as my partner is a tall man. Please also let me know about any special feeding or training instructions you may have for your dog (i.e. commands they respond to, dietary habits/ restrictions). It's also good for me to know about any of your pets' "quirks" that they may have that you think may be useful for me to know. I always want your pet(s) to feel comfortable around me.
A typical day
I love going for walks and short hikes, and I'm always happy to bring along a canine companion! I also love to play fetch and/ or tug with dogs! A tired dog is a happy dog!

I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life; I've never not had pets! As a child and teenager,I participated in 4H for 10 years and worked with dogs for 6 of those years. In those 6 years, I learned so much about caring for dogs, basic obedience training, and adapting to dogs specific needs. I have also spent many years doing odd jobs, much of which include house and pet sitting. Today, I have a 2 year old Golden Retriever, a large yard and a strong desire to help other pet owners when it comes to the needs to the needs of their family members with paws!
