Pet care experience
Dog mad spaniel owner with too much time and love
I have owned a sprocker spaniel for four years and before that helped to look after a black Labrador. Since moving to Bristol I have taken in over a dozen different dogs to stay with us and come on our twice daily walks, most of whom are repeat customers and now use me regularly to take care of their pets. I can offer basic training for puppies and for other dogs, and I am a trustworthy, reliable owner with knowledge to share and time to give.

Millie and Dan were amazing looking after my dachshund lunatics. We got daily updates and loads of pictures of all their adventures. Millie allows the dogs to feel at home, and creates a very relaxed environment for the dogs. My dogs came home in very good conditions and very content. We will definitely rebook when we go on our next holiday.

Millie was a fantastic find… Milo clearly was so relaxed and comfortable and came home exhausted.. thank you Millie for a really good first experience of leaving Milo with a sitter

First time with Amelia and the family and Viggy had the best time! Lots of fantastic updates and a very tired and happy boy when I picked him up! Thank you so much!
Finn had the best stay with Millie, Dan and Cody. We were a bit nervous leaving him as he can be a bit nervous with strangers, but he settled in really well. We received lots of photos of him having a great time which put our minds at ease! We would not hesitate to leave Finn with Amelia again in the future :)

Milly was wonderful with Arwen. Really easy to communicate with and let me know how each day had gone. Would recommend Milly to anyone.

Amelia and Dan were excellent, will definitely use them in the future :)

Schedule
I work from home 3-4 days a week and our weekends are spent on dog friendly days out or big countryside walks. We walk twice per day and I will be with the dogs all day. When I am not wfh, my partner can and we always make sure all dogs are comfortable with both of us before booking.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We have a crate for our boy, so if the dogs are becoming overstimulated he is happy to be in his crate to give both some space. We have a medium sized garden with fences to keep them secure and they can play together if they want to - supervised by me.
Pets
A typical day
Cody and I always head out for around an hour in the morning, usually to the local golf course for burning some energy and a chase of his ball. We come back around 9am to start the work day, when he likes to have his breakfast and a good old nap. In sunnier weather we will both take regular play breaks to go and sit in the sun or play wrestle on the lawn. Cody likes to sleep during the day until about 4/4:30, when we go out for another walk, usually to the local park to play with his friends or to the nature reserve. We do normally drive to these locations, but there’s plenty within walking distance if your dog doesn’t travel well! The evenings involve a few tricks and some find it games before lots of sofa cuddles and then bed.
