Hi! I’m Millie, and I’m a huge animal lover with 9 years of professional experience caring for dogs. Since 2017, I’ve worked in doggy daycare and overnight boarding facilities, caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. Working in professional pet care has given me extensive hands on experience understanding dog behavior, recognizing their individual needs, and creating a safe, comfortable, and positive environment for them. I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs, and I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and preferences. I truly believe animals are family, and I care for every pet as I would want someone to care for my own. My dog is incredibly important to me, so I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m also very attentive when it comes to safety. Before caring for your pet, I like to learn about their routine, walking preferences, feeding schedule, boundaries, allergies or medical needs, and anything else that will help me provide care as closely as possible to what they’re used to at home. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and keep you updated while your pet is in my care. Whether your pet needs a drop in visit, a walk, or overnight care, I’d love the opportunity to get to know them and give them the love they deserve!

I’m also respectful of your home and make sure your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

Millie is fantastic. She communicates effectively and efficiently. She has a great personality. But most of all she loved on my pup while I was away. She sent my pictures and kept me updated. Hurry and book her before I take up all her summer slots!
I can't recommend Amelia enough!! She's does an outstanding job and always goes above and beyond. I couldn't have left the dogs in any better hands and because of her, I have peace of mind when I'm gone. She's the sweetest and most caring person to my dogs and it shows how much she has a heart for any dog. I wholeheartedly recommend Amelia and she's definitely the best dog sitter I've ever had!
I have 2 dogs who couldn't be more different - one who is quite old (16 yo) and one who is only 2 and very shy and jumpy. Amelia couldn't be more perfect for them! She has worked with dogs for years at a popular (and very busy!) dog resort (boarding and daycare) that I occasionally take my shy dog to for socialization. When he sees her he runs to her and knows all will be ok! Because of her excellent care, compassion and expertise, I have also asked her to care for my dogs in my home. She comes to my house, spends the night when needed, and loves on them. Both are completely comfortable when Amelia is around! When she is taking care of them I know I will be able to relax and not have to worry. I can't say enough good things about her!
Amelia’s love for dogs shows when she is taking care of your dog. She understands what my dog wants and needs which is key to being a fantastic dog walker. She is closely in tune with my dogs behavior. My senior dog has medication and I trust Amelia to give the medication accurately and correctly. I highly recommend!
I would recommend Amelia to anyone who is looking for a reliable and kind person to care for their dog. I absolutely trust her with my dog, whether it’s during her weekly drop in visits or for a walk. I have total confidence knowing my dog is in good hands.

Schedule
I manage a local coffee shop and currently work a consistent schedule of 7:30am-2:30pm Monday–Friday and 7:30am–11:30am on Saturdays. Because of my schedule, I’m generally available for pet care in the early morning, late afternoons, evenings, and Sundays. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s routine. For overnight stays, I can plan ahead and make arrangements around my work schedule so your pet receives consistent, attentive care. I’m also available for drop-in visits and walks outside of my work hours.
