It is important knowing what their normal everyday activity is and try to maintain the schedule they are use to to help them be happy even when their human is away! It's also important to know how they are with other animals to know how to handle any situation that comes up!
A typical day
Multiple walks a day, playing with toys and games, giving attention, love, and treats! Whether it's walking your dog around your neighborhood or playing fetch with your doggo inside your yard I will be sure to give them the exercise they're use to getting on a daily basis!

Pet care experience
I have had dogs my whole life and a variety of pets growing up from chickens to lovebirds to cockatiels and helped my mom rehabilitate injured birds to include a hoot owl, Blue Jays, and doves. I have had hedgehogs, Chinchilla's, and I had a domesticated pet skunk for 7 years. I have had my dog for five years since college and have traveled all over the US with him! I have also taken care of friends pet to include walks, medicine, and feeding schedules.

Amelia was wonderful with our 2 cats. We’ve only recently moved to our new home, so the kitties were skittish to begin with. Amelia made them feel calm and loved while we were gone. Her notes and photos made us feel calm ;).
Amelia is amazing! My American bulldog named Polly is an ESA dog who I’ve had for seven years and five of those years were while I was in the Army. I boarded Polly once and she came back really sick, so I vowed never to board her again. This week I had a close friend pass away in California and I needed to go help comfort my buddies family, but I wasn’t sure what I would do with my dog because I couldn’t bring her with me. I decided to try Rover and after a detailed vetting process I chose Amelia to take care of my Polly girl while I was gone. From the moment I met Amelia at the meet and greet, all my anxieties of being away from my pup were lifted. Amelia was extremely attentive to the requests I had for Polly and I could tell by the pictures Amelia sent during her house visits that Polly was having a great time because she was in great hands! Trust me when I say that I will never trust any other sitter with my big knucklehead while I live in Utah!
We loved our experience with Amelia taking care of our pup. She was very good at communicating and we loved to see daily pictures and notes that she wrote in the app. We knew that our pup was loved and taken care of and recommend Amelia to anyone looking for a sitter?
Amelia has watched my dog Gertrude several times and I wouldn't trust anyone more. She is so sweet, attentive and full of love. I used to leave my dog with her anytime that I left town, and it seemed to be the one place that Gertrude didn't mind me leaving her! (Not to mention she has separation anxiety) Fantastic caregiver for dogs!
