Pet care experience
Dedicated dog and cat lover!
First of all, I absolutely LOVE dogs and cats. Honestly I love all animals. I worked at a doggy daycare for half a year and it was amazing. Meeting all of the dogs and growing my relationship with them was always the highlight of my day. I also loved getting to tell their owner how they did during their stay. Seeing how excited they were to see their parents at the end of the day, everyday, was so adorable. I loved making sure the dogs were safely exercised and stimulated through playing and interactive games. During this time I learned to monitor and supervise dog behavior, so I have an amazing understanding of their body language. I have also grown up with dogs my entire life including high energy dogs and laid back dogs. My dog, Finn, is an English Springer Spaniel and he is very energetic- but also the sweetest, most loyal dog. My cat Franklin is a Selkirk Rex and he is very chill but gets bursts of energy randomly that are hilarious to watch (or hear). I love them both so much and being able to learn to care for both dogs and cats as best as I can!

Ratings and reviews
Amelia is my daughter, and she has been animal lover all her life. She loves dogs and can even handle our highly energetic Springer Spaniel -- who is definitely a leash puller on walks. She is very responsible and takes great care of all the animals she interacts with.
Amelia walked my dog Doodle, who is a senior dog, and she was extremely nice and communicative. We did a meet and greet before she took her on a walk, and Doodle was immediately comfortable with her, which is rare. She sent a lot of pictures of Doodle during their walk and she had a great time. You can tell Amelia has a true love for animals. I will definitely be booking again!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I would absolutely love to fill my schedule with pet care! I am currently a senior in high school and I have a lot of free time. On weekdays I am free at any time after 3:30pm and on weekends I am free whenever! Around mid-May my weekdays will open up. So I would love to walk dogs after school or do drop in visits. And over the summer I will be happy to dedicate most of my time to caring for pets.

Safety, trust & environment
I always leave the house as I found it, cleaning up any mess that may have been made during my stay. I know a lot of people have Furbo cameras, which I am totally comfortable with! I always want pet parents to feel comfortable. I spend a lot of time cuddling with dogs and chilling with them if thats what they want to do. I also love taking them on walks or playing outside. And of course, I always make sure to feed them on schedule.
Pets
A typical day
I always make sure that my number one priority with the pet is that they trust me and know that I am a safe person. This allows me to learn their personalities and all their little quirks. We will take many walks, always leaving time for smelling all the smells. Of course we will play and explore together. And my favorite part, they will get all the pets and praise!
