Review for Amelia on Rover: My experience with this sitter was deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend her services. Despite clear instructions and boundaries discussed prior to the booking, they were repeatedly ignored, resulting in a situation that made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable in my own home. Here are the key issues: I approved a one-time dinner visit from the sitter’s husband, but he stayed beyond that and allowed their children to stay in my home as well. They used my grandchildren’s toys without permission, which crossed a clear line. A cat was brought into my home without my knowledge or consent. While I did not mention my allergy beforehand, I had no reason to believe anyone would bring an unauthorized animal into my house. My security and dog cameras were turned or repositioned so I could no longer view them remotely, raising serious concerns about transparency and trust. The sitter parked their vehicle inside my garage instead of using the garage door opener as agreed. This meant I had to leave a house key, which I specifically wanted to avoid. Personal entertainment items, including a gaming console, were brought into my home without permission — something I consider highly unprofessional. I returned to a house with a strong odor, a full garbage can, and an overall lack of cleanliness. Most importantly, my dog was not properly cared for. Walks were missed, medications were not administered as directed, and I could not confirm that my pet was receiving the attention he needed. Due to the growing concerns and lack of transparency, I ended my trip a day early just to return home and ensure my pet was safe. Future clients deserve to know the reality of what happened here. I trusted this sitter with my home and my dog — that trust was broken. I strongly urge others to clarify expectations in writing and monitor closely if choosing to work with this provider. J. These people were very nice and gave us information on our dog almost daily. However, their apartment is EXTREMELY cluttered and messy. Everything I got back that wasn’t a hard surface, including the food, I had to throw away due to infestation of roaches and bed bugs. I left the bags of stuff in the car for about an hour before I started to unload it and there were bugs EVERYWHERE. They managed to get out of the grocery bags and into boxes and into crevices of my car and into shoes etc. it was a disaster! Very nice people and inexpensive but, I would never have them watch my dog again because of the risk of infesting my house with bugs and pests.

She’s always great with my pup! I will book whenever she is available.

Amelia took very good care of my pets. She made sure to send me updates and pictures of them. It is great to have her so close to my place.

I Was Informed Frequently About My Dog And Communication Was Outstanding And Flexible With My Flight Delay

Amelia took care of my cat very well. My cat doesn’t warm up easily to very many people so I was pleasantly surprised that she let Amelia pet her! Clearly she felt very comfortable with her and I’m very happy with the care she received.
