Safety and trust are my top priorities. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, behavior, and specific needs to provide the best care possible. In my home, I offer a safe and structured environment with access to a yard, long lines for safe outdoor time, and nearby areas for both private and public walks, including lake and town settings. I use appropriate, safe equipment such as harnesses, gentle leaders, and martingale collars when needed to ensure control and comfort. In clients’ homes, I follow all instructions carefully and maintain your pet’s normal routine to reduce stress. I’m experienced in handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and I always prioritize calm, controlled, and positive interactions.

I like to learn as much as possible about a pet before our visit so I can provide the safest and most comfortable experience for them. Important information includes their age, energy level, potty schedule, obedience and training history, favorite activities, and any unique quirks or routines they may have. I also like to know if they are reactive, fearful, shy, socially selective, or have any behavioral concerns around people, animals, or specific situations. Information about medications, medical conditions, mobility limitations, senior care needs, or specialized equipment such as harnesses, collars, or safety gear is also very helpful. Every pet is different, and a thorough consultation allows me to understand both your expectations and your pet’s individual needs. My goal is to create a positive experience while prioritizing safety, comfort, enrichment, and clear communication every step of the way.
A typical day
Every pet is unique, so I tailor activities to their personality, age, and interests. My goal is to provide both fun and meaningful enrichment that supports their physical and behavioral well-being. Activities may include interactive play, treat and puzzle games, obedience practice, learning new tricks, confidence-building exercises, grooming sessions, walks, and other forms of mental enrichment. For dogs who enjoy training, we can work on basic manners or fun new skills. For those who prefer a slower pace, we can relax together with plenty of attention, affection, and companionship. Whether your pet loves to learn, play, explore, or simply unwind, I’ll make sure they have a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience during our time together.

I have extensive, hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals—including dogs, cats, rodents, ferrets, and large livestock. I’ve worked with everything from small pets to high-drive working dogs and large animals like horses and goats. Professionally, I’ve worked as a dog behaviorist and trainer, managing playgroups, training dogs of all temperaments, and safely handling high-energy or reactive dogs. I’m confident in my ability to read body language, prevent issues before they happen, and create a calm, structured environment. I have experience training puppies, working with senior dogs, and administering medications. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior or health and know how to respond quickly if something seems off. I also currently work as an Equine Specialist, where I assist with horse care, training, and overall health, including exposure to veterinary care practices. What sets me apart is my ability to handle a wide variety of animals and situations with confidence, patience, and strong awareness of safety and behavior.
