I've had dogs and cats my entire life. As an adult, I've adopted four cats and two dogs. Currently, we have 2 cats (Doc and Wyatt) and 1 dog (Forty). I work from home, so I'm pretty obsessed with my boys. My cats developed medical issues as they aged which required medication and a special diet. I understand the importance of following all instructions to make sure your baby is cared for properly. Also, my previous dog was a tripawd (missing front left leg) and he required additional care to maneuver and monitor all his actions/noises to make sure he is not in pain. A few months ago, I watched four cats for a friend. Then I watched them again while she was gone for a week, and I realized I really enjoy taking care of other's pets. I genuinely love animals and love to meet new pets - even if that means I must admire them from afar! My dog has separation anxiety, and he does not do well with new people. So if your animal struggles with new people too, I know how to best handle such a delicate situation.
