I’ve been around dogs my entire life and truly love caring for them. I grew up with a Husky/German Shepard mix which gave me early experience with daily pet care, routines, and understanding dog behavior. In my teens, I fostered a total of 12 dogs over the years, caring for a variety of temperaments and needs. This experience helped me become comfortable with dogs of all ages as well as training dogs. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for 2 years, where I worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. This included feeding, walking, cleaning, and helping dogs feel safe and comfortable. In addition, I’ve regularly dog-sat for friends throughout high school and college, providing dependable, loving care. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away!

I provide pet care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their usual environment. I follow all care instructions closely, prioritize safety on walks and during visits, and pay close attention to each pet’s needs and behavior. I respect your home, keep things clean and secure, and always provide updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

Amelia is an amazing dog sitter. She is extremely kind and very good at communicating every visit. She sends pictures and gives updates and lets you know if anything is wrong. My dog experienced some sickness while I was gone for a week. She then proceeded to check on my pup an extra time throughout the day without me having to ask. She cleaned up after her and made sure she felt better. I have never left my dog for a week before so I was nervous. Amelia did such a great job that I didn’t have to worry because my pup was in good hands!
Amelia watched 2 dogs for us while we were in town for a family members graduation. Both dogs warmed up and she walked, fed, and played with both. Would hire her again if she lived closer to home!

Schedule
I’m currently available on weekends and evenings during the week (7 PM-10 PM). Starting May/June, I’ll have a much more flexible schedule with increased availability!
