I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been something I truly love. I’ve had fish, hamsters, cats, and have spent many years around dogs of all ages and personalities. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of both dog and cat behavior, learning how to recognize their body language, personalities, and individual needs. Every pet is different, and I believe they deserve care that’s tailored to who they are. One of the biggest reasons I wanted to become a pet sitter is because I know pets aren’t “just animals”—they’re family. Growing up, I had a cat named Bugsy who was with us until he reached old age. Caring for him through every stage of his life taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and making sure both his physical and emotional needs were met. Those experiences shaped the way I care for every animal today. Now I have my own cat, Gumbo, who is absolutely my baby. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet behind, whether you’re working long hours or traveling. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and understood while you’re away. Whether that’s an energetic walk, playtime to burn off extra energy, enrichment activities, cuddles on the couch, or simply respecting a shy pet’s boundaries, I’ll care for them the way I would want someone to care for my own. I treat every pet as if they were part of my own family, and I look forward to giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring, dependable hands.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and secure in their familiar environment. Before each booking, I like to learn about each pet’s routine, personality, medical needs, favorite activities, and any behavioral quirks so I can provide care that’s tailored specifically to them. I carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and house rules, and I always respect my clients’ homes as if they were my own. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy, well cared for, and in good hands while they’re away.

Schedule
I work full-time in a hybrid role, which gives me a consistent schedule while still allowing flexibility to care for pets. I’m available every morning and evening for feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship, and on many work-from-home days I can also provide midday visits and attention. I understand that pets thrive on routine, so I do my best to maintain their normal schedule and ensure they receive the care, exercise, and affection they need throughout the day.
