My two small dogs are my world, and I understand the amount of trust you are instilling in another person to care for your fur children. My apartment has a fenced terrace area, and I have two friendly dogs that I can cage or let socialize. If and when in your home, my every action will be intentional and goal-oriented towards providing your pet with the most outstanding care.

I ask kindly that I please be informed if your pet has any behavioral issues. Examples include if your pet doesn’t get along with other dogs, gets nervous when walking on busy streets, pulls the leash on walks, etc.
A typical day
Whether it is a simple walk around the block, a trip to the dog park, or a little bit of exercise, your dog will be in the best care when they are in my hands.

Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Amberlynn Foote, and I am a 4th year medical student and aspiring surgeon. I'm completing my clinical rotations here in Chicago, where I live with my partner and our three fur babies, Birkley, Tucker and Spark. Birkley is a 15 year old chihuahua, and I’ve had him since the day he was born, as his mom was my very first pet. Tucker is an energetic Jack Russel Terrier that we rescued from a shelter here in Chicago back in March. Finally, Spark we actually inherited through Rover and she has fit into our family seamlessly! There has never been a time in my life that I didn’t have a dog and/or cat, thus interacting w animals and being an animal lover is second nature. I truly couldn’t think of a better way to relax and decompress from the stressors of medical school, than spending time caring for your pets. I will treat them with utmost care, just as I do with my patients! :)

Amberlynn was amazing with our pup! We have a very shy Cavapoo and Amberlynn was so patient and loving to her, she warmed up quickly. Amberlynn was prompt, friendly and had great communication with me throughout her stay. I would have her back in a heartbeat!
