I am a professional psychotherapist who works for myself. Caring for animals and others’ homes provides me a sense of connection to my community and is a way to help others—I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family at home and it’s something I know I do well. I have two pets myself—a caring and sensitive Australian Shepherd named John Prine Jr (who is training to be a therapy dog!) and a sassy and silly tortoise cat named Bonnie Raitt. I kept rabbits for 15 years and had and loved other dogs and cats that are no longer with us. I’m a responsible, experienced house sitter with plenty of experience caring for humans and animals. I’m communicative, caring, and work to be attuned to your home and pet care needs; I am comfortable with any number of tasks that pet-owning and pet-sitting involves. Specialities include rabbits (including medicine administration), as well as caring for elder and aging pets.

Amber stayed overnight to care for our home and our two dogs, and we couldn’t be happier with her care. She paid close attention to every detail we shared, especially for one of our dogs who is still a puppy, and was thoughtful about their individual quirks and routines. She took them on walks, followed all of our requests exactly, and clearly made them feel comfortable and loved...they adored her. Our home was spotless and well cared for when we returned. Amber truly went above and beyond when our flight was unexpectedly delayed, stopping by to care for our dogs even though that was not part of the original plan. That level of reliability and kindness gave us such peace of mind. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, attentive house and pet sitter.
Even though it had been several months, Stuart remembered Amber and was so thrilled to see her again! It's so great to have a regular sitter that's not only reliable but also takes the time to really get to know my pets and make them feel like they're her family. :D
Amber was wonderful. Our puppies will miss her - they got lots and lots of love and attention!!!
