I am willing to drop in and care for your pets. I’ll let them go outside for potty and zoomie breaks. I will also respect whatever boundaries your cats (or dogs… but let’s be honest, it’s mostly cats) may have and I will provide them with the adequate attention and affection. I will feed and give snacks if asked and will always refill their water bowls. I appreciate communication (and post it notes!) of what is expected prior to my visit, so that I can keep your babies happy and well taken care of. I ask that, because of a past incident, I not be considered for a job if there is a human staying at the residence when pet care is needed.

A typical day
To get some energy out I will take your dog outside and play fetch or with toys. If playing with toys aren’t their thing, I’ll give them all the belly rubs and pets they want. I enjoy taking walks (on non-winter days) and letting them smell all the best poles, rocks and whatever seems cool to them, as long as it’s safe.

I am a preschool teacher with over 20 years of caring for humans and 30 years experience with caring for animals! I have had multiple pets my entire life, including exotic animals. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes and ages. I have also cared for fish, lizards, salamanders, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, hedgehogs, ducks and even a tarantula. I love animals and know firsthand how stressful it can be to find someone to care for them when you are unable to. Neighbors and friends always rely on me to take care of their pets when they aren’t able to and I would love to be able to meet and love some other fur babies.

I have known Amber for a very long time and since the day I’ve met her, she’s always had a wonderful way with animals. She is kind, attentive and truly is an animal’s best friend! She isn’t just great with dogs and cats: she loves all the unique and uncommon animals as well! If it’s creepy and crawly, Amber loves those kind of pets too!! She’s great with any and all types of animals. She’s communicates well, is trustworthy and you can be assured she’ll treat your pet like her own.
Amber did an awesome job with our two cats, especially our shy girl who needed some coaxing to come out. They made a few messes around the house and she went above and beyond in taking care of clean up and cleaning.
Amber is our go-to sitter. She plays and cares for our dogs and cat whenever we’re in need. She is reliable and puts our minds at ease when we’re at work or on vacations.
