I've had pets as family members in my household for my entire life, mostly rescues. My first job was working as a kennel attendant at my mom's vet clinic when I was 12. I have volunteered extensively with Tulsa SPCA walking dogs, cleaning cages, and fundraising. I also worked as a dog groomer and intake clerk for the dogs and cats being surrendered by people to the SPCA. I eventually became a vet tech there and later a vet tech at an exotic animal clinic. I have also been a vet tech at a cat clinic and spent some time showing cats. I frequently walk my large, Mastiff/Amstaff terrier mix dog in our neighborhood who is very hard to handle as he is a highly reactive dog. I also ran my own pet sitting business, Comfy Critters, for some time. Several clients were diabetic animals, so I am comfortable administering medications to animals of all types and sizes. I feel I can handle walking larger dogs as well. My interest and genuine love and concern for the well being of all animals sets me apart. I will care for your animal as if he/she were my own.
