Animal loving vet student
I am currently a second year Veterinary Student, and have been fostering/watching dogs and cats for the past 12 years and had about 400 animals over those years as fosters. I have trained puppies how to sit, lay down, walk on a leash and crate train them. I am able to administer oral and topical medications as needed. My most recent foster I got because I heard she was hit by a car and had undergone surgery. I had to help her relearn how to walk, gain trust in people as she was a street dog before, and I have to give her many medications. I have also been dog sitting for the past 6 years and I am a veterinary student.

Amber was amazing with Pablo and took great care in making him feel right at home! It was our first time on Rover and we feel very lucky to have landed a great carer for our sheltie. Amber gave updates and we always felt as though he was in the best hands.

We loved our first experience with Amber - who did a great job with our chihuahua. He needed some special care and Amber was very attentive. The daily updates were great and much appreciated. All around, a great experience!
Amber was great with our senior dog! We administered our dog’s medications, provided updates that gave us peace of mind, and even trained our dog to wear booties. We look forward to booking her again!

I schedule time within my day to take care of my animals so it would not be too hard to add time for more animals .

I try to keep the pets on their own schedule so the change in environment/people would not be as strenuous on the animal if they are still in the same routine. I also give them lots of snuggles and scratches as well as outside time and walks around the neighborhood.

A typical day
I can take them for walks, play with toys and give them toys that you can put treats in to keep them occupied if I am away.
