We just want to say a big thank you to Amber! We felt very at ease leaving our dog Daisy with her. Amber kindly accepted Daisy at short notice and took the time to ensure she would get on with another dog she was already caring for, which we really appreciated. Daisy was taken on some lovely adventures around Chester and even came back washed down after a muddy walk, such a thoughtful touch. She seemed so happy and content (and tired) when we picked her up. We’d definitely recommend Amber to others and will absolutely be using her again in the future!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Since I work hybrid, I’m often at home and can give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. I love starting and ending my day with long walks, and I always make time for play, cuddles, and keeping to each dog’s usual schedule. Even on busier workdays, I make sure dogs feel included and cared for, whether that’s a quick game, a cuddle break, or a calming walk outside.

I care for pets by making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved, whether they're in my home or their own. I stick closely to their normal routines, like feeding times, walk schedules, and any special care instructions. I always take time to build trust with each pet, offering lots of patience, attention, and affection. Whether it's giving medication, providing extra support for senior dogs, or keeping puppies entertained, I tailor my care to each dog's needs. My goal is to make them feel as happy and relaxed as possible while you're away.
A typical day
A typical day includes lots of outdoor time, play, and cuddles! I love starting the day with a nice walk to get some energy out and explore the local area. Throughout the day, we’ll have play sessions with toys, mental stimulation like basic training games or treat puzzles, and of course plenty of chill time with belly rubs and cuddles. If your dog enjoys adventures, we might head to a park or a safe trail for a longer walk. I always tailor activities to each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs — whether they love being active or just want company and comfort.

- It’s really helpful to know anything that will make your pet feel more comfortable and happy. Things like their usual routine, any medical needs, special likes or dislikes, and how they are around other dogs, people, or on walks. I also like to know if they have any fears (like loud noises) or specific training cues you use. The more I know about their personality and needs, the better I can tailor my care and make sure they feel safe and loved.
