Safety, trust & environment
I put your pet(s) safety first. I focus on their care and their schedules, doing my best to keep them feeling comfortable and safe in my presence. I will also video any behavior that seems odd to me to make sure it's not something to worry over and only call when concerned or in emergency situations. A text can be ignored. A call is serious. I also do not intentionally store photos of your pets on my phone. They will be deleted after the stay.
Information Amber S. would like to know about your pet
Yes, I would like to know about your dog, or cat (or both), before I walk or sit with them. This way, you can be reassured about me and they can meet me in a neutral setting. I have no breed preferences, as I love and adore all dogs (and cats!).
A typical day
The walks will be to places loved by your dog. To new adventures, to long relaxing leisure strolls. Walks to a park where we can play fetch or tug (if you want your dog to play tug) in a safe environment, to games in your yard. Play, training, and walks, along with some time to relax while stretched out in their favorite, allowed, place. And for your cat, they'll love games of chase and hunt, along with pets and treats, and their own little bits of training. All of these are on top of what you need done for your dog, and cat, first.

Loving Care for Purring Hearts
Cat care experience
I have taken care of cats since I was 5 years old. I know their body language, can read their moods and how to make a purrito when necessary.
Reviews

Amber is reliable and friendly. We really appreciate her going the extra mile to have our cat (who generally avoids new people) warm up to her.

Amber is an excellent communicator and made sure my furbaby was well taken care of while out of town.

So happy we have Amber to watch our cat, I never have to worry about a thing! She is always so thoughtful and prepared. Thank you for being such an amazing pet sitter 😍

Great job taking care of the cats. Did good providing pictures, even for our super shy boys. Took extra time to bag up cat garbage and bring to door.
