Hi, i’m a college student and a huge animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with all sorts of animals. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters, and I currently help care for my one year-old dog, my nine-year-old cat and my hamster. I originally started pet sitting because I wanted to do something I genuinely love while earning some extra money on the side. I’ve always enjoyed being around animals, so getting to spend my time caring for them feels much more like something I love doing than just a job. I know that leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable and confident while you’re away. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, follow their normal routine and give them plenty of attention, whether that means going for a walk, playing, cuddling or simply keeping them company. I’m starting school soon but I’d still be available for dog walking and drop-in visits throughout the week depending on my class schedule. I’m also available for housesitting and doggy day-care on weekends, holidays and school breaks. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you don’t have to worry how your pet is doing while your away. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, routines or anything else your pet may need. I can also speak and understand French quite well, although I’m not perfectly bilingual.

Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize safety, trust, and making pets feel comfortable whether they are in my home or a client’s home. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and supervised environment that helps pets feel secure and relaxed. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions, respect their space, and stick to the pet’s normal routine. I always ensure doors are secure, provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes regularly, and pay close attention to each pet’s comfort and behaviour.

Amber was great! She was available on short notice and was very attentive and kind. I would definitely recommend her for those looking for a sitter for any dog. Our dog has special needs and Amber was ready to take that on and did an excellent job. I will look to book her again.
Amber is an excellent dog sitter. She babysat our 2 dogs and provided many updates and photos. Gave our pups lots of love and Took them for walks daily. Absolutely wonderful personality and the dogs loved her!

Schedule
I’m currently on summer break, so I have a very flexible schedule and can easily fit pet care into my days. Once school starts, I’ll still be available for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week around my class schedule. I’m also available for housesitting and doggy day-care on weekends, holidays and school breaks. I’m usually able to plan my schedule around each pet’s needs and am happy to work with owners to find times that fit their routine.

- Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know about their routine, personality, and any special needs. Please let me know about medications, dietary restrictions, fears, triggers, favorite activities, and how they are on a leash, as leash manners are important for safe and comfortable walks. The more I know, the better I can provide care that feels familiar and enjoyable for them.
