Pet care experience
Caring for your 4-legged family!
I understand firsthand the anxiety that can come with leaving your pets during travel or long work days. That’s actually what motivated me to join Rover — I wanted to provide other pet owners with a safe, reliable, and loving environment for their furry family members. I’ve had dogs in my life since I was four years old and truly can’t imagine life without them. I currently have two dogs and a cat of my own, so caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s part of my everyday life. What sets me apart is the level of structure, attentiveness, and genuine care I provide. I’m experienced with larger breeds and high-energy dogs, and I understand the importance of routine, clear boundaries, and consistent communication. Your pets will be treated with the same love, patience, and respect I give my own.

Simply the best!!

Amber took great care of my dogs while I was away! I will definitely be using her again in the future. Thanks Amber!

Great communication. Was helpful when working around my work schedule. My pup had a great time !

Amber was fantastic. Our dog had a great time and she sent lots of pics

Amber was very responsive and flexible to our needs. Our girl had a great time with her dogs. They asked for permission to take her to parks to ensure she had exercise and stimulation while we were away. We felt confident she was very well taken care of.

Schedule
I work full-time, but my office is conveniently located right next door to my home. Because of that, pets are never left alone for more than 4–5 hours at a time. My home has a fully enclosed private backyard just for the dogs, and I also incorporate multiple walks throughout the day (weather permitting). I’m up between 5 and 6 a.m., which allows for early morning potty breaks and exercise before the Arizona heat sets in. I’m very mindful of maintaining each dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I offer pet sitting both in my home and in yours, depending on what works best for you and your pet. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walk times, medication, and any specific house rules you have in place. Consistency helps reduce stress and keeps pets feeling secure while you’re away. If boarding in my home, pets can be crated or allowed to free roam when I step out — whichever you prefer and what they’re most comfortable with. My home has a fully enclosed private backyard, and all outdoor time is supervised. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat your space with respect and maintain a clean, calm environment. You can expect regular updates and communication so you always know how your pet is doing.

A typical day
The day starts with a longer morning walk before the Arizona heat sets in, followed by breakfast and some downtime before I head to work. Since my office is located next door to my home, I’m able to check in mid-morning (around 9–10 a.m.) and again early afternoon (around 1 p.m.) for potty breaks, playtime, and attention. My workday wraps up around 4 p.m., and evenings are dedicated to more walks, backyard time, enrichment activities, or trips to the park (depending on your dog’s energy level and preferences). On most evenings, I’m home relaxing — aside from the occasional Pilates class — so pets receive plenty of companionship and interaction. I adjust activity levels based on each dog’s personality, age, and needs — whether that means structured exercise, mental stimulation, or extra cuddle time.
